Set within one of Newcastle’s most sought-after suburbs, this high-end three-dwelling development presented a complex brief: a narrow block with a single access point, constrained outdoor living zones, and strict deep soil planting requirements.
Our design response transformed these constraints into a refined, cohesive landscape experience.
The landscape strategy carefully balances architectural elegance with council compliance, ensuring generous deep soil zones while preserving valuable outdoor living space for each residence. Layered native planting was selected to complement the contemporary built form — enhancing privacy, softening structural lines, and creating a distinctly Australian luxury aesthetic.
Spatial planning was critical. Every metre of the site was considered to maintain circulation efficiency, visual openness, and long-term functionality across all three dwellings.
