Jenkins Residence – Acreage Landscape Design for Entertaining and Lifestyle in Hunter Region

The Jenkins Residence presented an exciting opportunity to create a bespoke acreage landscape in the Hunter region, tailored to a family seeking a luxurious lifestyle retreat. Having grown up in semi-rural settings, the clients wanted a property that combined elegance with a cozy, welcoming feel for their adult children, friends, and future grandchildren.

We designed a winding driveway that adds character to the front entry, complemented by a nature-inspired water pond with a deck and jetty for fishing and keeping ducks. Central to the lifestyle vision is a green pavilion overlooking the gentle slope, providing a space for entertaining large groups, along with a fire pit area accommodating over 30 people. An outdoor kitchen and deck dining area echo the pavilion’s aesthetic, perfect for gatherings with family and friends.

A large swimming pool was incorporated to match the scale and lifestyle of the property. The project was thoughtfully staged over two years to ensure the landscape evolved seamlessly with the family’s vision. Every element—from the front pond to the pavilion, fire pit, and outdoor kitchen—was designed to create a retreat where memories can be made for generations to come.
