About PARC Concepts
PARC Concepts is a landscape design studio focused on resolving complex residential sites.
Our work centres on understanding how land behaves — and designing outdoor spaces that function as a coordinated system rather than a collection of individual elements.

We specialise in projects where site conditions, constraints and ambitious wish lists intersect, requiring a considered and integrated design approach.

Our Approach
We approach each project as a process of resolution.
Rather than applying fixed layouts or selecting features first, we focus on how levels, access, structure and use interact across the site. This allows decisions to be made early and resolved together, reducing the risk of redesign, approval issues or construction conflicts.
Constraints are not treated as limitations, but as part of the framework that shapes the final outcome.
Vision
Beyond contentment in outdoor lifestyle through sustainable landscape designs and solutions.
Mission
We recognise that our actions today greatly affect future generations. We are passionate and committed to creating environments where our children can play outside comfortably.
We value integrity, reliability, transparency, authenticity, and sustainability in creating an enjoyable journey and outcome for our clients.
Purpose
Rescue challenging landscape situations, where they have the higher impact on Sustainability.

We specialise in designing landscape solutions for challenging blocks, for clients who appreciate quality and take pride in their outdoor living spaces.
Design Philosophy
The work we deliver is guided by three core design principles

RESONANCE
Meet Kairos:
The Specialist Behind the Bespoke Design
Growing up in a small apartment in a dense urban environment, space needed to be used efficiently — every area had to be functional, adaptable and considered.
This early experience continues to influence how sites are approached today, particularly when working with constrained or complex properties.
With increasing environmental pressures and changing climate conditions, landscape design plays an important role in how people use and experience outdoor space. This perspective underpins a strong focus on sustainability, usability and long-term performance across all projects.
As a designer, Kairos approaches each project with a high level of detail, often working through complex site conditions, coordinating consultants and resolving design challenges before construction begins.

A Compassionate Overthinker
What We Specialise In
We specialise in landscape design for sites where conditions and constraints significantly influence the outcome.
This includes:
-
sloping, narrow or constrained residential blocks
-
larger acreage and semi-rural properties
-
sites affected by heritage, flood or environmental controls
-
projects requiring coordination across multiple consultants
These projects often involve resolving how different elements interact, rather than treating each feature independently.
Our Process and Project Coordination
Landscape design does not operate in isolation.
We work alongside surveyors, engineers, planners, arborists and other consultants to ensure each project is coordinated and aligned with approval requirements.
This includes:
- coordinating site investigations and reports
- managing development applications and approvals
- ensuring construction documentation supports the intended outcome
Acting as the link between design intent and construction ensures that what is built reflects what was planned.

Where We Work
We provide landscape design services across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland, the Hunter Valley and the Central Coast.
Each region presents its own set of site conditions, constraints and patterns of use — from dense inner-city sites and coastal environments to larger acreage properties and flood-affected areas.
Rather than taking a uniform approach, our work responds to how land behaves in each location, and how outdoor spaces are intended to function over time.

Landscape Documentation & Compliance Across New South Wales
In addition to residential landscape design, we support projects across New South Wales through landscape documentation and compliance.
This work applies to properties beyond our core design regions, where landscape plans are required as part of development, certification or approval processes.
It includes preparing landscape plans, coordinating with consultants, and ensuring proposals align with relevant planning requirements.
These services commonly support residential developments, multi-dwelling projects, and small-scale commercial or industrial works where landscape outcomes form part of the approval process.
